Livin Life // September 2018

I kicked off September with a visit to my mom’s hometown of Marlbourough, MA to visit some of her side of the family. It was lovely to see some aunts, uncles, and cousins that I hadn’t seen since I was a child. My favorite part was hearing my mom’s stories of her life there in town, pointing out old buildings and telling me about a moment in her life that she spent there. I definitely appreciate these kinds of trips more as I get older.

I ended up at a Mets game in early September, which was very exciting as it was my first New York sporting event EVER. I can’t believe it has taken me this long to get to one. Very happy that I was able to go.

29 Rooms again! Another year of art adventures with my girlfriend Justice! She always finds the most fun experiential art exhibits to go to and I am always excited to tag along. This year we had another great time at 29Rooms and we’re pretty sure that this is obviously our annual tradition now.

LMHQ Breakfast with Ladies Get Paid. This event was so eye-opening and I am so happy I was there! Talking about your salary and financial status and goals can be stressful and overwhelming at times, but there are so many ways you can combat that with research and preparation. Can’t wait to go to another event like this soon!

And I closed out the month at one of my client’s weddings! Congrats Quincy + Rick!! Our whole office had an absolute blast dancing the night away at The Box House Hotel in Greenpoint, BK.

Looking ahead: OCTOBER IS MY FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR! I don’t have anything planned (thank God) but I am hoping to do all of my favorite fall things… pumpkin patch, apple orchard, Hocus Pocus, the new Sabrina series on Netflix, fall candles, sparkly decorative pumpkins in my apartment, and so much more.

Hope you all had a wonderful September!
