Livin Life // October 2018

You guys… October was absolutely INSANE as far as over-scheduling myself goes.  I am way too good at filling up every open space in my calendar but I’m also really good at saying No to things… so I guess I just felt extra social and up for the challenge this month. I didn’t list everything I did but here’s some of what I was up to!

Wine Night! My roommate, Alice, and I hosted a wine and cheese night at our apartment early in the month. It was so nice to have our friends over (mostly our Bach Nation group) to relax and chit chat. We love hosting and don’t do it enough! I bought a new 6-pack of stemless wine glasses for this so we will definitely need to put those to good use again in the near future. We did a massive Trader Joe’s haul and it was all so delicious!

Pumpkin Patch Outing! My favorite fall activity to do with girlfriends is to get out of town for some good ‘ole harvest shenanigans aka apple cider doughnuts and hard cider…This year we went back to Harvest Moon & Outhouse Orchards, it’s just so easy to get to from the city!

1 Year Work-Anniversary! Yup, I’ve been at my new job for a whole year now, crazy how time has flown by! I am now a Junior Agent aaaand I got a raise AAAND I found out what my Christmas bonus will be… Yaassss! WERK!

Work Event! I was so happy to be at the opening night show and party to support our client, Zenzi Williams. She was absolutely incredible, along with the whole cast, in School Girls; or The African Mean Girls Play at The Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Food + Dranks!
El Centro in Hell’s Kitchen
Drinks at Manhattan Cricket Club (speakeasy upstairs!!!)
Happy Hour at Alfie’s with my old neighbors!
Birthday drinks for Justice at The Park before Bowling!!!
Birthday drinks for Wayne at West End Hall!!!

How cute is The Park in Chelsea? It has a really cheap Happy Hour until 8pm and this GORG atrium with twinkle lights!

Looking ahead: So excited to go home to Las Vegas for a WHOLE WEEK this Thanksgiving. I plan on snuggling my pup, watching the Harry Potter marathon, and seeing a few friends!
