For those of you that don’t know about my life before creating my own business… I had some pretty cool jobs! ✨From aspiring actor (yes, I have a degree in acting!) to Junior Talent Agent at a premier boutique talent agency in New York City, I was blessed to help represent some of the most talented actors in show biz. 👉🏻 Because of that experience and my own artistic background, I have learned how to work with and nurture creative clients. ✨Did a 180 and became Director of Communications for a celebrity tattoo shop in New York City (no, I don’t have any tattoos!) and was the point person for press interviews, collab requests, and VIP appointments…all while running two shops with a leadership team of five men. 👉🏻 While working here, I was exposed to the in-depth process of what it takes to run a globally recognized brand and operation. The cool thing about changing jobs every couple of years is that you take your past skills with you into your current role and see them evolve even more. Everything I have experienced and learned has brought me to this point in my career. And I can’t wait to see how I continue to grow and challenge myself. A year ago today, I bought the @_90dayva online course knowing that it would be a great side hustle for me. I was still mostly enjoying my full-time job, but deep down I knew that I was craving freedom. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ten months ago, I started said side hustle and did my client work before heading into the office each day. I knew that I would be great at this. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Six months ago, I got laid off. I was shocked and sad and pissed. So many emotions. But I knew that this was the start of a whole new adventure and I trusted the timing of my life. I decided to take my VA side hustle full time and haven’t looked back since. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Three months ago, I created a client waiting list because I had an overwhelming amount of amazing women who wanted to work with me. And still do! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And one year later… I’ve invested in another online course so I can pivot to an Online Business Manager, I’ve hired an intern, and I’ll be working with a business coach to help me scale my income. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why am I sharing this? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because a lot can happen in a year 🥰 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Take those baby steps today, bet on yourself, and watch yourself grow into the force that you know you are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏷 #virtualassistant #smallbiztips #businessgoals #onlinebusinessmanagers #bizcoaches

THIS NEXT CHAPTER IS GOING TO BE THE BEST YET 🥰✨ Claiming this as my mantra for the rest of 2021 as I navigate the many new and exciting adventures unfolding in my business and personal life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨SEE YOU SOON, NYC. After 9 years in NYC, I will officially be bi-coastal as of this November. I’m excited to be home with my family for the winter months and out of the frigid NYC temperatures 🙈 I will always consider myself a New Yorker, but I am so excited to spread my wings. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨RESTRUCTURING MY BUSINESS. This fall I am bringing on my first team member @v.panglao as a content intern, I will be pivoting to an Online Business Manager role as I complete @mynameisdeya course, and I am so excited to work with @theannawojtowicz via her Product Suite Bootcamp to nail down my offers and services. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨SEEING THE WORLD. Starting my own remote business has been the best decision of my life. Not only because I’m finally the boss I’ve always known I am, but because for the first time ever, I can work from anywhere.
